The new Art in the Desert event kicked off July 16 and 17 at the Osoyoos Desert Centre and featured a number of local artists. The event replaces Art in the Garden, which has run in recent years in the gardens and studios of local artists. The Osoyoos Times visited and talked to some of the artists.
