A key aspect of the Sikh religion is the principle of seva, or selfless service, and Vaisakhi is an important reminder of this enduring commitment to serving others.

The parade will begin at about 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, from the Bhav Sagar Tern Sikh Temple (5647 Hwy. 97 in Oliver) and make its way to the Oliver Community Park at 6359 Park Drive. At the park, there will be entertainment and a variety of Sikh food available free of charge.
