Highway 97 is open in both directions after a rockslide during the early morning hours Dec. 24.
Drive BC said the highway was fully open around noon.

DriveBC is reporting Highway 97 is closed in both directions after a rock slide resulted in some large boulders falling on the highway in the early morning on Dec. 24.
The rock slide occured between Sundial Road and Vaseux Lake Crescent (five kilometers south of Okanagan Falls). The road is closed and an assessment in progress. DriveBC says an estimated time of opening not available. Detour Via Highway 3 to Keremeos and Highway 3A Keremeos to Kaleden.
Small vehicle detour via White Lake Road and Fairview Road. Please obey traffic control personnel.
The next update is expected from DriveBC around 11 a.m.
