Two suspects in a recent chase involving two stolen trucks east of Osoyoos have been arrested in Kamloops.

Bree-Anne Buhler, 20, appeared in court in Kamloops this week and faces a charge of possession of stolen property valued at over $5,000. The charge relates to a stolen 2014 Dodge Ram.

Waylon Faulhafer, 21, was arrested by RCMP in Kamloops on two Kamloops warrants, but at this time has not been charged in connection with the Osoyoos truck thefts.

The second truck stolen was a Ford F350, Osoyoos RCMP said.

Police from Osoyoos and other detachments pursued the two stolen trucks, which drove east of Osoyoos at a high speed on March 31.

RCMP used a helicopter and service dogs in the pursuit, which ended after a man and woman abandoned the trucks and escaped into the bush off Mount Baldy road. A ground search at the time failed to locate them.

Neither Buhler nor Faulhafer have a fixed address, but both have lived in the Osoyoos-Oliver area, RCMP said.
