UPDATE: Two people were injured in a motor vehicle rollover on Highway 97 near Road 21 on Monday.
Sergeant Jason Bayda from the Osoyoos RCMP reported that a 2017 Kia Ronda driven by a 58-year-old male from Penticton went off the road.
“Early indication is the driver fell asleep at the wheel.”
Bayda said both the driver and 53-year-old male passenger, also from Penticton, were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
