Shendah Benoit has been appointed as the new principal of Tuc-el-Nuit Elementary School.
School District 53 has announced that Shendah Benoit has been appointed as the new principal of Tuc-el-Nuit Elementary School.
Benoit has been with the district for five years and has served as teacher at Okanagan Falls Elementary School and most recently as vice-principal of Osoyoos Elementary School. Benoit replaces Dave Foster, who has been appointed as principal of Osoyoos Elementary School.
Foster has been with the district for 10 years and served as principal of Tuc-El-Nuit Elementary for three years and vice-principal of Osoyoos Secondary for four years.
In other changes, the district has appointed Glen Heinrichs as principal of YouLearn.ca. Heinrichs has been with School District 53 for 13 years and has held the positions of vice-principal of Southern Okanagan Secondary as well as Osoyoos Secondary, and most recently the position of principal of Osoyoos Secondary since 2007.
