Osoyoos Mayor Sue McKortoff (centre front) proclaimed April to be Daffodil Month in Osoyoos last week. Pinning a daffodil on her was Donna Kelso, secretary treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Osoyoos. The month raises funds for the Canadian Cancer Society through the sale of daffolils as well as raising cancer awareness. This is the first year the local Kiwanis Club has taken on the project.
