As someone who uses an electric mobility scooter to get around town, I would like to mention that the sidewalk and curb cuts on Main Street from Shopper’s along past Wine Kitz to the Pizza Factory/Lounge are in very poor shape and it would make a better impression on visitors if this area was fixed up.
Also there are still a few businesses in town which are not accessible to me and others and it would be great if these places would take it upon themselves to rectify this matter for visitors and locals alike.
I would like to thank all the currently accessible places for thinking of those of us who need to use mobility aids to get around.
My scooter makes it possible for me to be more independent and that is the whole idea.
