There’s a new face at Tinhorn Creek this spring. The vineyard recently welcomed their newest addition, winemaker Andrew Windsor. An experienced global traveller, Windsor brings a unique blend of passion and scientific knowledge to the winery.
Windsor, who hails from Ontario, studied environmental science at the University of Guelph before gaining his Masters of Oenology at the University of Adelaide in Australia in 2006 and then took on an assistant wine making role at Mollydooker Wines in McLaren Vale where he worked closely with viticulturist, Andrew Moon and winemaker Korol Kuklo.
Windsor will be overseeing the wine making process from vines to bottle. He brings with him a wealth of experience and will continue Tinhorn Creek’s tradition while bringing his fresh approach. Tinhorn officials feel this will bring an exciting new element, whilst helping the winery to continue to progress.
