Photo by Richard McGuire The Osoyoos Lawn Bowling Club held an open house recently with visitors from throughout the Okanagan. They got going with an event called the spider in which bowlers form a circle and try to be the one to bowl closest to a small white ball in the middle called a jack. The club has just over 30 members and they bowl three times a week. The club would like to attract some new (and younger) members, said Naga Terada, president. They play next to the Osoyoos Seniors Centre.
