Vocal super group Tenore is kicking off the holiday season with a Christmas concert at the Venables Theatre Dec. 9.

The internationally-acclaimed group is joining forces with the Sage Valley Voices, under the direction of Lori Martine, as well as the Kelowna Secondary School Chamber Choir.

Tenore’s roster includes 12 of the most powerful voices from Canada and the United States: David Wise, Mark Williams, Carlos Santiago, Shane McConnell, Arnold Livingston-Geis, Gabriel Burrafato, Kaden Forsberg, Adam Sperry, Adam Dyjach, Joey Niceforo, Kevin Pauls and Taylor Fawcett.

For their Oliver show, they’ll be performing hits off their freshly released Christmas album Christmas With You.

Featuring well-loved classics including “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “O Holy Night” and “O Come All Ye Faithful,” the album was recorded in cities across the world, including Moscow, Nashville and Toronto, and with world-class producers.

Grammy Award winning vocal superstar Heather Headly makes an appearance on the title track “Christmas With You.”

The album is already decorated, recently receiving the GMA Christmas Album of the Year award.

After sold-out performances across North America, including the Prime Minister’s Prayer Breakfast, Tenore is now bringing their world-class show to the South Okanagan.

Tenore performs at the Venables Theatre on Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $29 for adults, $25 for seniors and $15 for children under 12, and availbe at the theatre box office or online at venablestheatre.ca.
