The Oliver Osoyoos Search and Rescue (OOSAR) successfully located and rescued a woman in the early hours of Mar. 13 who went missing in heavy snow near Bridesville. 

On March 13 at 4:30 a.m. the OOSAR was tasked by the RCMP in response to a missing female in the Bridesville area. 

In a social media post the OOSAR Said that despite the heavy snow conditions the team conducted a search and successfully located the subject safe and in good health by 10 a.m.

“OOSAR wishes to acknowledge and thank the mutual aid provided by the RCMP Dog and Drone team, Penticton and Grand Forks Search & Rescue teams, as well as the OOSAR and Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) dog teams who were en route to assist.”
