Oliver Elementary School students have collectively run all the way across Canada and half way back this year as part of its marathon challenge, celebrating its 10th anniversary today.
According to Principal Karen Sinclair, the students have run 11,721 kilometres this year.
Today was their marathon finale as pupils completed six laps around the school field. Even the kindergarten students took part, completing a half marathon.
The marathon is held every year to promote health and fitness.
