A pink wheelbarrow, gardening tools, plants and an array of the newest spring fashions and accessories were a part of the show at the Watermark Resort – Conference Room on Saturday. Yes – that is right – a pink wheelbarrow!
In the early morning hours on Saturday, Osoyoos Soroptimist members were putting out spring themed table centrepieces and other final touches for their annual “Step into Spring” Breakfast Fashion Show.
A wonderful turnout of the local ladies were in the doors before 9 a.m. to take part in the bidding for a multitude of silent auction items, enjoy a hearty breakfast and see what is in fashion for spring/summer 2016.
A combination of store owners, Soroptimists and other community members, a mother/daughter team, and teenage models showcased the latest spring fashions and accessories, provided by retail shops in Osoyoos and Oliver.
It was evident that each model on the runway enjoyed showing off the clothes, bling, purses, hats and jewelry to the perfect music provided by Diane Ball.
When the Silent Auction was closed, the show was over and the ladies had collected their bottles of wine and other wonderful items, Osoyoos Soroptimists were pleased with yet another successful fundraising event for many local causes.
