A spot o’ tea, a loaf of sweet bread, and . . . a cordless drill? Or how about a vase?

There was nearly everything plus the kitchen sink at the annual tea, bake sale and garage sale held at the Oliver Seniors Centre today (Wednesday).

The volunteer ladies in the kitchen were kept very busy serving tea and sandwiches, while Helga Aston and Irene Covey were manning the bake sale and garage sale tables. There were also craft sale tables set up with knitted items and other homemade articles.

Of course, seniors society president Ron Shulhan was running around making sure everything ran smoothly.

In photos, kitchen volunteers Ellen Belisle and Pat Wessel fill up their pots with endless cups of tea, while curiosity gets the better of some garage sale seekers.
