I would like to give a big thank you to the Osoyoos Fireworks fundraising committee, for organizing such a fabulous event on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Osoyoos Elk’s Hall.
This was a fundraising event to generate funds to help pay for the spectacular fireworks display that takes place over Osoyoos Lake as party of Cherry Fiesta celebrations on Canada Day on July 1.
The Valentine decorations were beautiful and the band Rebel Luv rocked the hall and had everyone singing and dancing until 2 in the morning.
Kraken Katering provided a delicious buffet at 11 p.m.
The Valentine treats were most impressive.
Thanks to the generous donations of local businesses, the silent auction was a great success.
For $15 it was the best party in town. The organizers even provided a shuttle home.
I know everyone enjoys the fireworks displays on Canada Day here in Osoyoos, so this is a very worthwhile fundraiser to support.
I know I will be there next year with all of my friends. I hope to see a full house next year.
