An upbeat music video in Oliver is showcasing the talents of two local dancers.
“Aligned On You” is Rebel Luv’s new song on YouTube. The popular band featuring Mikie Spillett and Ken Repkow used the Firehall Brewery to shoot the main scenes. The Okanagan Valley loaned them its beauty for the rest.
Spillett gives a big shout out to dancers Kayla Barisoff from The Dance Studio and local actor Jed Dominguez who works at Tim Hortons. Spillett noted they were instrumental in making the video and relaying its message.
“The theme of the song was written about how you never know when something is going to surprise you and be everything that you always wanted as you struggled to find the answer. Sometimes the solution evolves right before your eyes.”
Spillett said they have a lot of marvellous friends, fans and followers in this small community.
“There’s nothing more exciting than engaging and connecting when there’s something new and fun happening,” Spillett said.
She couldn’t stress enough how all of the participants in the video were so positive and professional.
“We look forward to many, many more video projects in the future.”
