The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen released a video on Sunday showing its flooded areas.
The drone footage, recorded on Friday and Saturday, shows the Sportsmen’s Bowl area, Secrest Hill Road, Park Rill Road and Island Way Road.
The RDOS says that they are continuing to control the drainage in the Sportsmen’s Bowl area, and that their recent efforts were focused on increasing water pumped from Park Rill Creek into the Okanagan River channel.
The RDOS says they are installing a fourth pump at the lower Island Road location, and a fifth pump and drive over ramp will be installed along the creek at Park Rill Road, which will remain open only for emergency vehicles.
