Oliver RCMP are investigating the cause of a single vehicle accident north of town this morning.
Police report that a vehicle was travelling southbound on Highway 97 when it left the road and struck a Telus power pole between River Road and Secrest Hill Road.
The driver had to be extricated from the car by the Oliver Fire Department. The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The pole was severed by the impact.
