Purolator is working on finding a new service agent in the Town of Oliver.
The company previously had a shipping agent partner in the Oliver Laundromat, but Purolator closed that office.
Purolator communications spokesperson Courtney Reistetter told the Times-Chronicle that most shipments for the area are being held at their terminal in Penticton for pickup.
She noted they have two agents in Okanagan Falls and Osoyoos, adding that shipments would be held at these locations as well, depending on the addresses of the shipments.
The Osoyoos agent is Happy Paper Parlor at 7602-85th Street. The phone number is 250-495-0277.
The Okanagan Falls agent is located at 910 Main Street. The contact number is 250-497-5194.
“We hope to have another agent in Oliver within the next six months,” Reistetter said.
