There was live music from such bands as Milan Starcic, Wined It Up and Great White North, Firehall Brewery was offering up some of its best suds, and there was plenty to do for the kids.
Although the weather didn’t always co-operate, October Fest 2014, held Saturday at Oliver Community Park, was a success.
Angus James, 5, of Vancouver spent his long weekend visiting his grandparents in Oliver, and his Saturday afternoon carving out a pumpkin during October Fest. James and other kids were also encouraged to take in many of the other kid-related activities.
