Mike Safek will be the new principal of Tuc-el-Nuit Elementary School this fall.
As Osoyoos Secondary School prepares to close, School District #53 has made some principalship changes, effective August 1.
Osoyoos Secondary principal Mike Safek will be transferring to Tuc-el-Nuit Elementary School as principal. He was a former principal at Oliver Elementary School and in Okanagan Falls.
Lyle Chapman, vice-principal of Osoyoos Secondary, will move to Southern Okanagan Secondary School to assume the duties of second vice-principal.
Shendah Benoit, current principal of Tuc-el-Nuit, will move to the district principal position for Student Support Services. This is a result of Terry Collis retiring.
