Police recover stolen goods
On February 3 Oliver, Osoyoos and the regional detachment attended to a residence in the 4,000 block of Highway 97 and recovered a trailer stolen from the Penticton area on January 16.
Members also recovered a firearm, ammunition, a battery charger and other items which were reported stolen as a result of a break and enter in Osoyoos in late January.
Police said no charges will be pursued as a result of this investigation.
Hummer stolen
On February 5 the Oliver RCMP received a report that a White 2009 Hummer had been stolen from a residence in the 1,000 block of McKinney Road.
The vehicle was recovered later in the day, abandoned in a parking lot off Spillway Road behind a park in Oliver.
On recovery of the vehicle it was noted that the battery was exhausted and the side air bags had been deployed, likely from being driven off road by the thief/thieves.
Bike recovered
On February 7 an Oliver resident reported finding a bicycle on her driveway, located in the 6,000 block of Meadows Drive.
The bike is described as a ladies burgundy Mongoose 21-speed.
The owner can arrange to recover this bike by contacting the Oliver RCMP detachment and quoting file #2104 2014-493, and providing further descriptive detail.
