Distracted drivers in Oliver are being urged to change their ways.

To help them on the road to safety, members of South Okanagan Traffic Services have been busy this morning reminding them.

Three officers were pulling motorists over on Main Street as part of distracted driving enforcement. March is Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

Motorists who use their cell phones while driving are being hit hard with fines -$368 plus four demerit points.

According to the government of B.C. research shows that distracted driving contributes to 25 per cent of accidents.
