Fun Day lived up to its name last week at Oliver Elementary School, where students were treated to a full day of games and activities. Pictured here is a class who had just sealed themselves underneath a parachute, sealing the edges as best they can to slow the deflation. (Dan Walton photo)
After a long year of working hard in school, the faculty at Oliver Elementary School gave their students a jump start to summer by dedicating June 28 to Fun Day, where kids spent hours playing with bubbles, hula hoops, hop-scotch, potato-sack racing and group parachute games.
Pictured playing with bubbles is Reet Dhillon, and Abbygail Wolfe is swinging the hula hoop.
