
Libby Parsons (right) was awarded second prize at the opening of the new exhibition at Osoyoos Art Gallery for her painting Waiting for Winter. The award was presented by Brad Hillis, president of the Okanagan-Similkameen chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA). The show, Colours in Winter, features the paintings of local FCA members. First prize went to Dianne Bersea for Snow Tree, but she wasn’t present. Third prize went to Michael Jorden for Longterm Parking Pueblo and Ramada. Honourable mentions went to Dianne Korsch, Carol Munro, Lynne Marand and Stephen Chmilnitzky. (Richard McGuire photo)
