A 68-year-old Osoyoos woman was killed in a vehicle collision in snowy conditions east of Osoyoos Monday afternoon.

RCMP have not released the woman’s name.

The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. about 21 kilometres east of Osoyoos on Highway 3, South Okanagan Traffic Services of the RCMP said in a news release.

A westbound Dodge pickup truck driven by the woman went out of control on a curve and slid sideways into the eastbound lane.

An eastbound Chevrolet Tahoe SUV then struck the Dodge broadside. The two occupants of the Tahoe suffered minor injuries.
