October has arrived and that means the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is just around the corner.
This also means that the majority of working people will be able to enjoy an extra day off with their family and friends, while enjoying a turkey dinner – or ham.
The office here at the Osoyoos Times will be closed on Monday, but will return to regular hours opening Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
The deadlines for display advertising have been moved up to this Friday at 2 p.m. The deadline for classified advertising will remain Tuesday at 2 p.m.
We wish everyone a healthy and happy Thanksgiving weekend and urge drivers to use extra caution as there is sure to be more traffic on local highways and roads all weekend.
