Over the past month, Queen Teagen, Princess Ali and I have been proud to take part in community activities.

On Sunday, March 8, we were very pleased to be able to help at V-Day event in Oliver.

By being at this event, we were able to help raise awareness and fundraise for violence against women. This was very inspiring for us, as we were able to hear a few stories as well as see meaningful artwork.

Princess Ali, Queen Teagen and I also had the privilege of attending the opening ceremonies of the 41st Annual Atom Fiesta Hockey Tournament at the Sun Bowl Arena in Osoyoos.

It was a great experience to be part of the excitement that the kids, parents, and communities showed. We could definitely tell how proud each and every one of those kids felt while marching around the ice.

This year, our town is very lucky to be represented by two lovely candidates, running in the British Columbia Ambassador program.

We recently had Lauren Sherwood as a B.C. ambassador (2013-2014). Then, Juliana Martine, from Oliver, became an ambassador for 2014-2015. Now, we have two candidates from Osoyoos – Chelsea Cameron-Horner and Viveka Jensen. We are so proud of both of you.
