Osoyoos Indian Band Chief Clarence Louie will help celebrate the grand opening of the South Okanagan’s newest Tim Hortons restaurant this Saturday, March 17.

Located at the intersection of Hwy 97 and Enterprise Way, about 6 km north of Oliver, the ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place at noon.

The new business is a result of local collaboration between businessman Landon Miller, the Osoyoos Indian Band, NHL legend Ted Nolan and family, and Ecora Engineering and Resource Group.

Chief Louie, Oliver Mayor Ron Hovanes and Tim Hortons executives will be on hand to congratulate the owners and partake in the festivities.

The event continues until 3 p.m. and includes a performance by Osoyoos Indian Band members, Tim Hortons games, prizes and giveaways, as well as a local Timbits Hockey ball hockey game.
