A number of Osoyoos groups set up tables at the Sonora Community Centre last Wednesday for Participate Osoyoos, the latest incarnation of Mass Registration.

Although attendance was slow when the Osoyoos Times showed up, a steady trickle of visitors circulated through the gym, chatting with representatives of clubs and organizations, some of which they hadn’t previously heard of.

The Town of Osoyoos, which organized the event, provided free tables to groups wishing to take part. Some groups used the event to seek registrations and new members, while for others it was a way to reach out to the community.
