Members of the Order of the Eastern Star held a soup and bunwich lunch at the Elks Hall on Friday, and donated 50 per cent of the profits to the Oliver Food Bank.
The group raised a total of $580, $290 of which was donated.
The organization hopes to make the event annual in support of the Food Bank.
The organization thanks the Oliver residents who came out to enjoy lunch and support the event.
