The South Okanagan Rehabilitation Centre for Owls (SORCO) is hosting its annual open house/ grand opening of its new clinic on Sunday, May 4 from 10 am to 3 pm.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 11 am by The Honourable Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of BC.
Don’t miss out as this is the only day SORCO is open to the public.
Activities include a barbecue, a children’s corner, exhibitor booths and a silent auction.
Visit the burrowing owl facilities and meet “Pilot,” the burrowing owl.
Meet “Houdini,” the great horned owl and wish him a happy 15th birthday.
