At least one person suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 97 south of Oliver late this morning.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., Police, ambulance and firefighters were called to the scene near the Road 1 intersection, where two vehicles collided. One female was seen placed into an ambulance via stretcher. Her injuries did not appear life-threatening.
Both north and southbound lanes were closed for a brief time.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
