The Rotary Club of Oliver has awarded Vienna von Burg as its Southern Okanagan Secondary School (SOSS) “Student of the Month” for April.
Vienna von Burg has grown into a dedicated and compassionate young leader whose commitment to her community began at an early age.
Volunteering at the Okanagan Gleaners alongside her dad on weekends sparked a love for giving back that has only grown stronger over the years.
This passion naturally led her to the Oliver Ambassador Program, where she continues to represent the town and serve the community.
Aside from volunteering, she also coaches soccer and T-ball through Oliver Parks and Recreation, sharing her leadership and enthusiasm with younger athletes.
Within the school, Vienna is involved with the field hockey team and also the soccer team, bringing the same determination and team spirit to her sport as she does to her community involvement.
Her quiet dedication and willingness to help make her a valued member of both her school and the greater Oliver area.
