Dogs are not normally allowed into the Oliver community swimming pool, but on Saturday for one hour they had the run of the place.
Between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, dogs enjoyed a Doggy Swim with proceeds donated to the SPCA.
Dogs jumped into the pool after balls and other toys. One dog, Amber, a golden retriever, even made repeated jumps off the diving board at the coaxing of Kathleen Brown, who tossed the balls back in. Other dogs chased each other or swam with their owners.
A good time was had by all.
