A 29-year-old Oliver man is facing charges after allegedly stealing a car and colliding with RCMP vehicles in Peachland on Saturday.
Jamison Gammond appeared in court in Kelowna on Monday and is facing charges for possession of stolen property over $5,000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving while prohibited and two counts of assault with a weapon (colliding with RCMP vehicles).
Gammond was apprehended by Kelowna RCMP on Saturday. Officers deployed a spike belt after he failed to stop for a road check, and for officers in Penticton earlier.
Gammond is scheduled to appear in Kelowna Law Courts again on Monday.
