Five cousins and three generations of the creative Evans family, who originally settled in the Oliver area in 1926, have gotten together to hold an art show at the Quails Nest Gallery.

“My family are all artists and we just thought because we love to paint that we would have this show and all the monies go to the hospital fund,” she said noting the importance of the hospital to the community.

The show is on Saturday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oliver’s Quails Nest Art Centre at 5840 Airport Road, Oliver. All proceeds go towards the South Okanagan General Hospital fund.
