Without any snow on the ground and mild temperatures continuing into the third week of December, it might not feel like Christmas is just around the corner.

But that’s the reality as Christmas Day returns next Friday.

Here at the Osoyoos Times, it will be business as usual next week as all regular deadlines will remain in place for the Dec. 23 edition of our paper.

We just wanted to remind our regular readers and advertisers that we will be closing our office at noon on Christmas Eve on Dec. 24.

The office will be closed on Christmas Day and we will also be closed on Monday, Dec. 28. Normal office hours will be in effect on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30, but we will again be closing our office at noon on New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31.

Regular office hours will resume on Monday, Jan. 4.

Deadlines for the Dec. 30 edition of the Osoyoos Times will be moved up with the advertising deadline set for close of business on Dec. 23. The regular classified advertising deadline will remain in place for Tuesday at 2 p.m.
