On Tuesday, September 13^th, 2022 Mr. Zdenek Brokes passed away peacefully in his family home at the age of 91 years. Zdenek will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Zdenka, his daughters Alena and Zdenka, son-in-law Alan and dear friends.

He was born in the Czech Republic and emigrated to Canada with his wife and two young daughters in 1968. He worked in Dawson Creek, Vancouver and West Vancouver as an auto mechanic, marine mechanic and eventually owned his own fencing business before retiring with his wife in Osoyoos in 1986.

Zdenek loved various sports including hockey, table tennis, soccer and golf. He was an active member at the Osoyoos Golf Club for many years and enjoyed travelling to many tournaments with his friends throughout the South Okanagan.

Zdenek was a devoted family man and was a great friend to many in the community. He will be missed by all who knew him.
