Walter Mayer

It is with great sadness that Walter Mayer passed away suddenly at the age of 87. He is survived by sister Josephine Hill (Melvin) of Wainwright Alberta and brother Lance Mayer (Carol) of Medicine Hat Alberta. Brother-in-law Mark Estabrook of Barrier B.C. and many nieces and nephews. Walter was born in Medicine Hat Alberta where he grew up and helped his family farm at Wainwright Alberta. He then moved to B.C. and did odd logging jobs until he moved to Osoyoos, B.C. then to his final home at Oliver B.C. where he has been for 25 years or so. He loved to play his guitar and sing. He will be sadly missed. There will be a private family gathering to celebrate his life at a later date.
