On Friday November 8, 2019, Mrs. Sylvia Belle Grant of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital after a long battle with dementia at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her parents Hugh & Beatrice Morey and siblings Bernie, Rosie and Wilbur.

Sylvia will be fondly remembered by her loving family including husband Alex; daughter Donna (Ron) Riddoch; son Doug (Sally) Grant; grandchildren Chris, Deanna (Brandon) and Alysha (Taylor) and great-grandchildren Jamie, Nikki and Eli.

Sylvia worked for twenty-five years making windows for Alcan before retirement. She moved to Osoyoos thirty years ago from Surrey. Sylvia enjoyed fishing and baking and was known as the cookie lady.
