The family of Sam Verigin of Oliver, BC is saddened to announce his passing at the age of 89 years.

Sam is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Vera; children, Linda (Brian) and son-in-law, Allan; grandchildren, Jordan, Leah, Lisa, Mathew (Rachel), Jeremy (Mauricio) and Daniel; great-granddaughter, Madison; sister, Mary.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Shelley; siblings, Mildred, Mike and Florence.

Sam’s family would like to thank Dr. Tarr and the staff at South Okanagan General Hospital for their compassionate care.

There will be no services at this time. Sam’s urn will be buried in the Kootenays close to Vera’s parents.
