On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Mrs. Rena Catherine Jelic of Oliver passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital after a long battle with cancer at the age of 86 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Jelic; son, Sherman Vance; brothers, Harry Etheridge and Tom Etheridge; sisters, Josephine Miller, Sally Williams, Rosmond Wilson, Anne Baxter and Yvonne Lyons and grandson Ericson Vance.

Rena will be fondly remembered by her loving family including sons, Robert Vance and Eric Vance; daughter, Dawn Suttie; sisters, Abigail Ingraham and Lila MacPhee; sister-in-law, Evelyn Etheridge; fourteen grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.

Rena worked more than 40 years in the health care industry as a dental assistant and care aide in Port Coquitlam, BC.
