Myrit Christine Reiter passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Westview Extended Care in Penticton at the age of 88 years with her loving daughters Shirley and Debra by her side.

She was predeceased by her husband Joe; son, Alan and brothers, Fred, Carl, Lou and Hans.

Myrit will be fondly remembered by daughter Shirley Mrau; grandchildren, Angie, Chris and Sarah; great-grandchildren Zoe, Isaac, Riley and Hailey; grandson Joe and great-grandchildren Tyrone and Rachel; daughter Debra McCahon (Charles); grandchildren Joy, Charles, Debra and Paul and great-grandchildren Shian, Cayden, Savannah and Logan and brother Howard Elvers.

Myrit grew up on an orchard in Osoyoos with four brothers and spent most of her life on Vancouver Island raising her family before moving to Penticton in retirement.

She enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Mexico and Germany and she enjoyed bowling and cribbage.

Myrit is once again in the loving arms of her mom Crystal. She will live forever in our hearts and will be missed by her family and friends.
