October 6, 1930 – May 28, 2021

Marion Ann Ziebart (Mc- Geachy) passed to eternity May 28, 2021 in Langley, B.C. at the

age of 90. She is predeceased by her husband John Edward Ziebart, son Kenneth John Ziebart

and daughter-in-law, Carole Ziebart, parents Robert and Irene McGeachy, brother Robert

McGeachy and son-in-law Elder Jeske. She is survived by her brother Alan (Pat) McGeachy, and

her children Debbie (Elder), Beverly (Scott), Catherine (Dave), Sharon, Timothy, Craig (Cecilia) and Chrisandra

(Martin), as well as 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Marion and John Ziebart were married August 12, 1950 in Oyen, Alberta. They took over the family homestead

and farmed in Alsask, Saskatchewan until 1964 when they moved to Kamloops for 2 years and then to Oliver, B.C. in

1966 where John purchased an orchard. Marion continued to live in Oliver after John’s death in 1980, eventually moving

to Langley in 2005 to be closer to her children.

Marion was a devoted Catholic, wife and mother. She worked tirelessly in raising her children and overcoming

many difficulties in her life, especially the sudden death of her husband in 1980. Her strong faith and good example

have left a permanent impact on her children and grandchildren.

Interment will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oliver Cemetery.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
