It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved dad, grandpa, and friend.

Malcolm was a gentle soul and his kindness touched many in his 89 years. His love for his family was unparalleled.

Malcolm grew up in Oliver and graduated from Southern Okanagan Secondary. He was an avid outdoorsman who, from an early age, enjoyed riding his horse, hunting, fishing, and later, nordic and alpine ski adventures with friends. Silver Star Mountain, in particular, held a special place in Mal’s heart.

Malcolm is predeceased by his sister, Rita, and his one true love, wife Maraleen. Malcolm and Maraleen met in Prince George and settled in Burnaby to raise their two children, Josh & Lisa.

He leaves behind a family who adored him, son Josh, daughter-in-law, Amy and his cherished grandkids Gabbi & Joey. We find peace in knowing that you and Maraleen are together again. We are so lucky to have had you so close all these years and we miss you terribly.
