On Saturday May 16, 2020, Mrs. Lorna Grace Fairbanks of Osoyoos BC quietly slipped away after a short battle with cancer at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 84 years.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Mildred and brother Bruce.

Lorna will be fondly remembered by her loving family including daughter Deb (Larry); son David (Karen); grandchildren Amy (Dylan), Kari- Lynn (Kevin), Michelle (Jeffery) and Greg (Krystal); great-grandchildren Micheal, Nicholas. Lela, Coen, Connor, Gabriella and Rayna; sisters Barbara (Morry) and Pat (John) and brother Leonard (Jean).

Over the years, Lorna was a member of the Order of Royal Purple in Port Alberni. She was an avid quilter and belonged to both the Oliver and Osoyoos Quilting Guilds.

The family would like to thank the palliative care nurses and Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Broder.
