Judith Adele DuMont

September 24, 1949 -
January 7, 2023

We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2023 we had to unexpectedly say goodbye to our beloved Judith Adele DuMont of Penticton. She was 73 and born in Oliver B.C. and raised on the family ranch in Bridesville B.C.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ted and Hilda DuMont.

She is dearly missed by her partner Gary, brothers Dan (Carol), Ken (Sheila), and her four nephews Rob, David, Tim and Jeff.

Judy finished her schooling in Oliver and continued on to business school in Kelowna.

Judy enjoyed long careers with the Royal Bank and Revenue Canada from which she retired. She has stayed in touch with many coworkers and they have remained good friends to this day.

She loved travelling to Europe, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba and enjoyed most of those travels with her partner Gary. She enjoyed baking cookies, muffins and birthday cakes for all of her family. She was very fond of each of her nephews and always enjoyed keeping up on what they were doing. She was a farm girl at heart and still loved to help out on the farm when and where she could.

She leaves behind her beloved cat Louie that was a rescue and loved sharing his story. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Okanagan Humane Society or society of your choice.

A memorial mass will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday February 3, 2023 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 361 Wade Avenue W., Penticton, BC.
