On Sunday, April 9, 2023, Mrs. Josephine “Jo” Astrope of Oliver passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Sunnybank Centre at the age of 81 years.

Loving Mother to, Cheryl (Chuck) Hitchen, William Astrope (Debbie Wellwood), Yvette (Jeff) Weaver and David (Lorraine) Astrope. Dear Grandmother to, Daniel Hitchen, Carl (Holly) Torgrimson, Shandi (Jean-Luc) Lamoureux, Lorne (Becki) Weaver, Evan (Meagan) Weaver, Janine (James) Dand, Chris (Michelle) Willier, Craig Willier and Rochelle Astrope. Great-grandmother to, Lylah Torgrimson & Alice Lamoureux, Trysta Tower, Hayden, Holden & Meila Weaver, Sydney & Adeline Dand, Natalie, Logan, Ronin & Mackenzie Willier and Ayden, Khaled & Kaelen Astrope. Sister to, Freda (Dale) Roberts and Gary (Diane) Loroff as well as Auntie to numerous Nieces & Nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Dawson Creek, BC.
